GLOCAL SOUND is a venture promoted
GLOCAL SOUND is a project promoted by Fondazione Piemonte dal Vivo, Fondazione Toscana Spettacolo Onlus, AMAT – Associazione Marchigiana Attività Teatrali, C.L.A.P.Spettacolodalvivo – Circuito Lombardia Arti Pluridisciplinari, CEDAC – Circuito Multidisciplinare Spettacolo Sardegna, Santarcangelo dei Teatri e ATER – Associazione Teatrale Emilia Romagna.
These seven regional networks decided to invest on young authors and independent producers to promote original and unpublished music in all its forms. Therefore GLOCAL SOUND becomes a showcase dedicated to young musicians and their original works with no boundaries nor limitations regarding genre.
The aim is to create an opportunity formusic circulation produced by young generations, as a tool for identity making and aggregation.
The 2018 call for proposals is open to:
- Italian young authors and producers (under the age of 35)
- foreign young authors and record producers residing in italy (under the age of 35)
- young authors and record producers (under the age of 35) who are second generation immigrants.
Authors and musical producers can be either groups, bands or single musicia, without any previous agreement with a major publishing company.
All the applications, due by June 2nd, 2018, will be evaluated by an artistic commission that will pick the most interesting musical creations from each regional area to present them during the GLOCAL SOUND showcase scheduled for October 2018 in Turin.
